ABOUT US
We believe at Beyond the Barre that making friends, creating lasting relationships, growing self-confidence, learning self-worth, and life lessons are as important as the technique you will learn during class.
Dance is where artistry and athleticism meet, and this theme carries through all classes taught at Beyond the Barre Dance Center. Students receive the type of training that turns them not just into successful dancers, but accomplished human beings, prepared to achieve whatever they set their minds to.

YPAD
BTBDC is certified in student safety and wellness by Youth Protection Advocates in Dance. All employees are background checked, CPR and First Aid certified. Instructors are trained to teach dance safely and to make the studio a safe and positive environment. This certification shows we go the extra mile to make dance safe, healthy and positive for everyone.
ACROBATIC ARTS
Dancers who train through Acrobatic Arts have both physical and mental benefits. Dancers will work through proper progressions to obtain skills: including drills to improve strength, flexibilty and improve cardio. AcroDance is based on the following 5 divisions; Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering and Tumbling.
Alixa Flexibility
Alixa Flexibility's mission is to create a new global culture where flexibility is done safely & correctly using specific progressions, good alignment, and strength support. Where technique is the focus. Where students are given the tools to have longevity of career, and everyone of all ages will feel better in their bodies.
ACRO DANCE
A style of dance the combines classic dance techniques with elements of acrobatics. This class will focus on five foundational areas; strength, flexibility, limbering, tumbling and balancing. We are proud to be an Acrobatic Arts certified studio.

Miss Nicole & Miss Sara are fantastic! I have seen so much growth with my daughter's dance and acro skills. Not only is my daughter learning but she is having fun while doing it. My favorite part of dancing at BTBDC and being on their comp team is that we all get along and we're always nice to each other. I love dancing with all these people because they are my friends. We are all supportive of each other. I love everyone with my heart they are like family to me. I feel comfortable with them and not shy. We make each other laugh. If one of us feel left out we include them.

My daughter has been taking classes with Miss Nicole & Miss Sara for over 5 years. We really like BTBDC because everyone cares for their students. They understand Alivia's strengths and weaknesses, and was able to work with Alivia to motivate her to be better. Besides offering dance lessons for the kids, Miss Nicole also offers adult class, and lucky for me i have also been a student for over 5 years. I can't say enough on how much we love BTBDC. Miss Nicole and her studio have truly made a huge impact to my daughter's and our lives., and looking forward to many more years here. I highly recommend BTBDC for beginners, experienced dancers or any parents who would like to learn or refresh their dance skills.

Miss Nicole is not only an amazing dance teacher & studio director...she's just an all around wonderful person.
